The 2011 vintage was characterized by heavy snowfalls during the winter and by a spring with abundant rainfall. The regular summer, with average seasonal temperatures, however, allowed the grapes to ripen correctly. Thanks, then, to a very dry end of August and September and with good temperature variations between day and night, the harvest gave excellent results.
