TASTING NOTES
Yellow with golden reflections and fine and persistent perlage. The nose opens with aromas of freshly squeezed citrus fruits, which evolve into complex hints of lightly toasted brioche, raisins and candied fruit. The mouth follows the nose, resulting powerful, rich and structured, enhanced by honey flavors that are combined with a fresh acidity. The finish is long and full-bodied.
PAIRINGS
Excellent in combination with a good stuffed capon, or to be combined with 18-month aged Parmigiano Reggiano.

CHAMPAGNE BRUT “SIR WINSTON CHURCHILL” 2008 - POL ROGER (BOX): WHY WE LIKE IT
It is the most prestigious cuvée of the Maison Pol Roger, created in homage to Winston Churchill who, referring to the Champagnes from the Epernay cellar, said: "my tastes are simple, I am easily satisfied with the best". Produced only in the best years, the Champagne Brut "Sir Winston Churchill" is obtained from Pinot Noir and Chardonnay grapes, assembled in a proportion jealously guarded by the maison. Elegance, refinement and delicacy are accompanied by power, structure and aroma.
